Text Box: Our Mission
Here at MWA we have a mission; to inspire an appreciation for Nature by offering unique and enlightening experiences navigating through Maine’s pristine wilderness backcountry. It is our goal that our travelers reawaken natural skills and intuitions, rekindle their relationship with Nature and discover themselves as significant and intricate parts of the Natural World. Offering guided trips for women, youth, families, groups and individuals, providing an enriched experience with an appreciation for the ecological heritage of the pristine places we call home.

About Us
MWA was founded by two women, best of friends who share a love of Maine and the great outdoors. Both women raised with the teachings of traditional Maine families, learning the wisdom of the woods and an appreciation for its natural resources. Through their travels and experiences they’ve developed a passion for teaching and inspiring others through Nature.
